Doll’s 90th Birthday Party
Over the weekend of 29th & 30th August, Gertrude will be operating on the Leighton Buzzard Railway as part of sister engine Doll’s 90th Birthday.
The Doll at Pages Park on the LBR
This will also be the first official public appearance of Gertrude. Full details of operation will not be confirmed until the weekend, as Gertrude will only be tested on the LBR on the Friday, however it can be confirmed that Gertrude will be in steam both days and will also take part in the evening photographic session at Pages Park on the Saturday. Members of Gertrude’s support crew and restoration team will be on hand throughout the weekend to meet visitors.
